What we do?

We are a group of like-minded students who attend Castlebrooke Secondary School in Brampton, Ontario. Together, we engage ourselves in building, designing, and programming to compete in the VEX Robotics Competition. VEX ROBOTICS is the largest and fastest growing middle school and high school robotics program globally with approximately 20,000 teams from 50 countries playing in over 1,700 competitions worldwide. Currently, we have three teams, 356A, 356B, and 356Y.  With a passion for robotics, we work together to build the best robot. We are Team 356.

What is Robotics?

Robotics allows students to create, design and experiment all at once. Schools everywhere are noticing the advantages that robotics provide and today more than ever, schools are bringing robotics into the classroom to provide a unique way to learn about STEM and apply core subjects such as math and science beyond the classroom. Varman's Smile Foundation aspires to raise funds towards the efforts of raising awareness about mental health issues. We look to use this foundation as an outlet for individuals to seek help and have a welcoming and positive environment.
